IT Technical Product Manager

Coordinate the efforts between the software engineering teams and the stake holders/partners for software products and online services.  Ensure that the requirements are gathered from the stakeholders and properly given to the engineering teams through user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.

 Essential Functions
  •                   Gather requirements from stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  •                   Create and maintain a visible product roadmap and ensure that it is in alignment with our client’s business objectives, and all our client’s departments.
  •                   Maintain product backlog by:
  •                   Writing user stories
  •                   Prioritizing user stories
  •                   Verifying requests
  •                   Planning sprints
  •                   Writing acceptance criteria
  •                   Conduct sprint planning and sprint review meetings.
  •                   Keep all stakeholders continuously updated on the status of sprints, projects, and issue requests.
  •                   Work closely with the engineering manager and technical leads to provide clear understanding features to be delivered estimates for completion.
  •                   Have excellent knowledge of our client’s applications and services.
  •                   Take ownership of the overall quality and effectiveness of all applications and services.
  •                   Will understand the company’s business needs and be adept at working across organizational boundaries while maintaining a strategic perspective regarding IT architecture.
  •                   Will work as a strategic partner and build productive relationships with teams such as management, marketing, creative, IT, and so forth.
  •                   Participates in monitoring budgets and workforce allocations for the group.
  •                   Interface with different departments and analyze business rules.
  •                   Provides training and mentoring of the essential Technical Product Owner role to peers
 Additional Job Functions
  •                   Evaluate software applications when upgrades or system changes are requested.
  •                   Understand and adhere to GMP policies and procedures.
  •                   Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Requirements

  •                   Strong written and oral communication skills.
  •                   Must have 3-5 years product management experience.
  •                   Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to others or self.
