Help Desk Support Analyst - PC - Lead

Our company is growing by 20% yearly and as we grow we need more PC support!  You will be part of  a team of 4 highly skilled and respected IT professionals that provide PC reliability to our entire company.  We depend on our computers to provide the best customer service possible to our employees and clients.  We want you to be a part of our success.  We are an established company with multiple locations (25) in Idaho.  We offer full benefits including a pension plan, 401K, and 80% of medical benefits paid.   We will also cover relocation costs.

Responsible for all aspects of the end users PC experience including, desk top applications, printing, and PC performance.  This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring, and the development of specialized system procedures.  Performs administration functions’ including creating customer profiles and accounts, manages and monitors system resource.  Perform or assist in diagnosing production problems; understands IP telephony.  Perform system updates, keeps systems current with anti-virus protection.  Keep current with new security and system monitoring technologies.
  1. Create, maintain, and support over 700 PC’s.  This includes event monitoring and tuning.
  2. Developing centralized, efficient methods for managing end user systems to minimize downtime and hands on visits to workstations.
  3. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and software.
  4. Strong expertise with anti-virus software, particularly Symantec Endpoint Protection.
  5. Strong skills in asset tracking using Express Metrix or similar.
  6. Ability to efficiently manage the deployment of a significant number of desktops / laptops using industry standard tools like Symantec Altiris.
  7. Knowledge of data networking and other areas of IT.
  8. Handles purchases, patches and updates on all PCs using Lumension.
  9. Knowledgeable in Active Directory and Powershell.
  10. Able to write technical policies, procedures, and documentation including user guides, trouble shooting guides, etc.
  11. Oversees and controls the computer software and related hardware and communication systems.
  12. Participate in weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss progress and issues to be resolved.
  13. Manage the information flow to members, Administration, branch levels, and external interested parties.
  14. Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT issues.
  15. Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested.
Qualifications:
minimum 2 years of similar experience supporting PC end users working from multiple site locations.  Results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment. Preference given for a BS degree in computer science/computer information systems, or related field or a combination of related experience and education. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with other department supervisors.  Good background in desktop management. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the data base records.
Understand and direct computer system and implement resolution to system problems.  Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.  Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act.
