Quality Control Technician
 
We are the leading manufacturer in North America for quality feed  products.  We seek a reliable, organized hard working individual to fill our Quality Control Technician in West Jordan, Utah.
 
This position, requires working in the lab and on the manufacturing floor  to perform the following:
•           Sampling of materials for testing
•           Testing of materials using NIR analyzer
•           Performing physical and microbiological tests on the feed
•           Maintain and report test results
•           Maintain indexed library of samples from manufacturing
•           Handling customer complaints
•           Handling product holds
•           Prepare samples and dispatch to third party labs for analysis
•           Audit production feed test results and report findings
•           Perform internal QA audits of procedures and manage the internal audit records
 
Requirements:
•           Post-secondary education desirable or a minimum 2 years of direct work experience with QA systems, regulations, guidelines, and associated standards
•           Training or working knowledge of ISO 9001 and HACCP are desirable
•           Knowledge of LIMS is desirable
•           Extremely detailed-oriented and analytical thinker
•           Able to interface directly with cross-functional teams
•           Computers – Spreadsheets, word processing and database programs
