Corporate Real Estate Division Finance Officer

Location:California - San Francisco 
Target Salary $175K base.  Bonus potential.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the SVP, Corporate Real Estate, the Division Finance Officer is responsible for excellence in conceiving and directing policy consistent with Bank standards for all financial and accounting responsibilities of Corporate Real Estate ("CRE"), including annual operating and capital budgets of up to $200MM and $100MM, respectively, approximately 500 properties and leases, and numerous other contracts. The position is also accountable for contract and employee resource management and sourcing policies.
Management or Supervision: Direct reports: 3-4 FTE; also indirectly manages dedicated contract
staff of up to 10 service partner personnel engaged in finance, accounting, sourcing, and contract
management and administration activities
Major Responsibilities:
40% Ensure the orderly, accurate, integrated and timely analysis, planning, budgeting, control,
accounting and reporting of all financial, accounting, audit, risk management and reporting
responsibilities of CRE (e.g., AR, AP, GL, owned and leased premises property inventories and
utilization, projects).
20% Effectively manage and direct a team of employees and contract personnel resources, including backup and succession plans. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, coaching, training,
performance evaluations, termination of personnel as necessary, compensation changes, oversight of work, and related duties.
20% Ensure the orderly, accurate, integrated and timely maintenance of, and accessibility to
historical, current and forecast information on CRE management, including vendor CPIs, respective P&L, financial statements, etc.
10% Maintain policies, standards and procedures for budgeting, accounting, reporting,
forecasting and financial analysis, and support internal and external audits as required.
10% Support various special projects such as M&A, ad hoc portfolio analysis, lease analysis and provide guidance/direction on the same.
BA or BS degree in business, finance or accounting and 12+ years' relevant experience required.
Strong understanding of GAAP required
Comprehensive understanding of technical principles, requirements and business risks; and
current, pending and potential financial, accounting and regulatory matters that may affect the
Practical knowledge of Corporate Real Estate functions; facility management, sourcing, design, construction, contracts and project management and understanding of their impact on financials is preferred
Advanced degree, CPA and / or CFA preferred
